SCOTT & STRINGFELLOW PROMOTES LUSCOMB TO MANAGING DIRECTOR »


June 16, 2009 - RICHMOND,VA ------ Scott & Stringfellow announced today that Harris T. Luscomb, III has been promoted to Managing Director. Luscomb is a Financial Advisor in the firm’s Williamsburg office.

Within two years of being promoted to Vice President, Luscomb was directly promoted to Managing Director as a result of his hard work and dedication to his clients. His knowledge, experience and strong relationship with his clients are a valued commodity with Scott & Stringfellow and contribute to the firm’s continuing success. Luscomb has been a partner with the Compass Advisory Group of Scott & Stringfellow since 2002. They are often heard to say that the advantage they bring to their clients beyond their background and experience, is that “we listen and we care”.

Luscomb joined Scott & Stringfellow in 1999 as a Financial Advisor after 25 years as an Estate and Tax Planning Attorney. He holds a B.A. from Yale University, a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and a Master of Laws in Tax from Boston University Law School. Luscomb also is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) and holds Series 7, 63, 65, and insurance licenses.
